To obtain a SLED (South Carolina Law Enforcement Division) background check for your organization, you can follow these steps:
- Visit SLED’s Website: Go to the [SLED CATCH portal](https://catch.sled.sc.gov/) (Citizens Access to Criminal Histories) to request background checks online.
- Complete the Form: Fill out the required information, including the name and details of the individual(s) for whom the background check is being requested.
- Pay the Fee: The standard fee is $25 per check, but charitable organizations may qualify for a reduced fee of $8. Payment can be made online using major credit/debit cards.

If you prefer a mail-in request, you’ll need to send a Criminal Records Check Form, proper payment, and a self-addressed stamped envelope to:
